When all expectant eyes are already on you (and your wedding gown) in all your bridal glory, surely you wouldn't want your girl friends looking like complete sacks of potatoes, would you?
The process of selecting the right dress pegs for our entourage has been just as taxing as selecting my gown. In fact, choosing my dress was slightly easier as the designer did most of the hard work. It's really important to me that my ladies look their best at the wedding, not only for cohesion and photo aesthetics, but because they're beautiful ladies inside out and I want them to feel good about themselves and what they're wearing.
As usual, I draw inspiration from Elie Saab. Fun fact: Plaid Boy and I passed by the boutique in Champs Elysees during our recent trip to Paris and I got so kiligers. He asked if I wanted to go in and I declined because I knew he was getting hangry. If that's not true love, then I don't know what is!
I am in love with this collection. I love how the fabric moves like air! I love the colours he used and I love the sky high slits.
This collection has got to be one of the prettiest I've seen in terms of celebrating all things ethereal and feminine. I am really in love with that black dress... except I'm cocksure it wouldn't be allowed in our church. I love the simplicity of the draped chiffon dresses from this collection, too. And I like that there's something very Game of Thrones-ish about them.

I adored the dresses in this collection which surprised me as I'm not a fan of florals nor lace. I am really in love with that tent dress, except I do know it's not particularly everyone's favourite silhouette.
I also like a few dresses from Badgley Mischka collections through the years.
I like the synergy of these dresses despite coming from different seasons. They're all pretty timeless so the girls can probably wear them after. They do look quite simple, though... and I guess they'd need some sort of statement accessory to make it look fab.
Of course, there's also Brit designer Jenny Packham whose RTW line is as covetable as her bridal wear.
A friend recently took me to the Wedding Dresses exhibit at the V&A Museum and one of the few dresses I really adored was made by her.
What about printed, or "mixed media", or avant garde dresses?

I've asked the girls to send me pegs for their desired gowns too. I guess the job becomes a bit easier as all of them seem to have the same body type anyway but... too many dresses, not enough time! *sigh* We will get there, girls. Hopefully in time.
