Staycation at the London St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel & The Booking Office

The luxurious St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel is definitely one of the most gorgeous looking hotels I’ve seen. Its façade serves a picturesque and romantic background that can withstand all seasons. I mean, come on… when you rock up into a place looking like a castle (unless you’re born into royalty and think it’s normal) in your horse-drawn carriage (aka UberX for us earthly creatures) won’t you feel part of a fairytale, too?

The hotel has a fascinating history and they offer tours showcasing stories of its then and now from £20 per person. It’s gone through an invested refurbish through the years and I have to say it really does look spectacular. They have 245 rooms including 38 restored and updated suites.
The Grand Staircase has probably been its most featured asset on the social networks and I see why. It’s grandeur is slightly spooky but mesmerizing at the same time.
I just had to.

The hotel’s spa offers treatments and holistic experience perfect for locals and visitors. You can check out the list of facilities and services here.

It’s a very relaxing place.
The relaxation pool area is small but it has hydro loungers, traditional saunas, a therapeutic steam room, a relaxation lounge in addition to six luxurious treatment rooms (including a couple’s suite, perfect for quick romantic spa breaks).
The Booking Office Bar & Restaurant used to be the hotel’s former ticket hall leading into St. Pancras station. It’s buzzing with travellers and locals all the time.

It’s definitely quite a place to wine and dine in London with its gothic interiors and classic British menu. I particularly enjoy their mini fish and chips, and the rib-eye steak can actually contest other steakhouse cuts in town. Their cocktail menu boast drinks whose recipes have been recreated from lost recipes from the Victorian era and sipping these bad boys by their impressively long bar is quite a treat.

A staycation at the London St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is a pretty cool experience and it’s definitely something I’d recommend. If not for the pleasure of shouting “Hey, I’m staying in what looks like a castle!”, at least you get a taste of staying in one London’s architectural masterpieces.

It's quite dreamy! The only thing is that on the new wing of suites, they have portraits of staff from old Victorian era… and they look creepy! Haha. They look like they stare at you wherever you go!

I had a staycation there earlier in the year - I love that the hotel has so much history and I especially love the famous Spice Girl stair case 🙂

I always eye this place up when I'm on Euston Rd - such a ridiculously gorgeous/glamorous building! I'd definitely love to go for a cocktail just so I can say I've been inside the hotel and as for that spa and pool…sigh. xx
